About Tales Toolkit
Tales Toolkit provides interactive, child-led resources all using easy to remember symbols to represent story structure.
Our kits give children the independence to create and write stories around their interests using anything they have to hand: an old sock, a conker, a popular culture character or a favourite toy. These are provided with online training for teachers and ongoing support to ensure maximum impact is made across many areas of learning – making links to topics and core books, incorporating song, mark making, phonics, maths and more!

The Job
We’re creating Tales Toolkit ‘Parent Training.’
These will be online, video training sessions featuring talking heads, interviews and interactive tasks – all tailored to parents / guardians / family members so the storytelling can continue at home. We’re super excited about them!
We have scripts and we’ve recorded loads of audio and interviews with fantastic experts BUT we need someone to help us drop the right footage (mostly of children using Tales Toolkit) into the right places. And there’s a lot of footage… so we need someone decisive, and with great organisation skills.
Our lovely film guys will be on hand to train you to use Adobe Premiere Pro (they’ll still be doing all the tricky bits). What we need is a teacher’s eye to find the good bits. You’ll be panning for those golden quality interactions, or like a detective, you’ll sleuth out use of language, engaged children, confident communication, child-led play etc. You’ll dust for fingerprints of the footage that fits with our fables, if you will.
Exact dates are negotiable, but we’re looking to get this completed as soon as possible and would love to find someone who can dedicate a proper chunk of time to help us get this out to families. We envision this being full time at least for 4-6 weeks (or a bit longer, for a part-timer) and there will be scope for some follow up work.
