Here at Tales Toolkit, we know that everyone has a story to share. This is ours...
Tales Toolkit resources are manufactured by Supreme Creations, “The World’s Largest Ethical Manufacturer of Reusable Bags”. Supreme’s award-winning factory in Pondicherry “is Fairtrade accredited, has an 80%+ women workforce, and uses sustainable manufacturing methods to reduce waste in water, energy, and materials.”
From its inception, Tales Toolkit was designed to be for everyone. We want children of all backgrounds and language levels to access the joy of storytelling and benefit from the opportunities to develop their communication and social skills. The super simple 4-part story structure with easily understood symbols symbols were created to ensure maximum understanding.
We also encourage practitioners to celebrate every unique child by creating stories that are of interest to them, using familiar objects and ideas from their home and culture.
We know that children learn best when they are given agency. And we know that teachers want to give them that freedom. That’s why Tales Toolkit champions letting the children lead by creating stories that mean something to them and making sure they know that there’s no such thing as a wrong answer!
Tales Toolkit was created in UK settings to support quality interactions betweenchildren and the people around them while fulfilling curriculum requirements.
From person to person, institute to institute, we all learn differently. Tales Toolkitbuilds the foundations for education, preparing children for a life-long love oflearning. Our scaffolded approach supports language and communication, social andemotional skills, literacy, creativity, problem solving and more.Of course, development must be recorded and impact shown.
The EYFS statutoryframework is very much part of Tales Toolkit DNA – it’s where it all began!Through our training we support you to make maximum impact for your children, tickthe boxes you need to tick, and build the confidence to talk to key stakeholdersabout evidence, research and what really matters for your children.
