Super excited to share some brilliant news with you!
Tales Toolkit have been awarded a grant under the Mercers’ Company’s Early Years Special Initiative, funded by the Charity of Sir Richard Whittington.
The Mercers’ Company is a livery company focused on being a philanthropic force for good. Each year they help around 180 charities with the aim to create positive change across generations, giving those they help the chance to live a fulfilling life now and in the future.
This grant means that we will be able to provide our brilliant resources and training to more schools across London.
The grant is funded by the Charity of Sir Richard Whittington (to which the Mercers’ Company is a Corporate Trustee) and will ensure that, coming out of the pandemic, some of the children and schools that have been hit the hardest by remote learning will have the opportunity to regain their levels of creativity, play, imagination and literacy-based skills.
What does this mean?
In a nutshell – this means being able to offer the Tales Toolkit programme to selected schools at a heavily subsidised price, supporting organisations that positively nurture children’s futures all through Early Years. We are thrilled to have been selected!
Tales Toolkit has already helped so many children with their storytelling skills but also with their social skills, confidence, imagination and literacy and now we can reach even more children.
It is wonderful to be able to bring Tales Toolkit back to more schools in London – where our story started – and we cannot wait to see and hear all of the stories that will be created by the wonderful children and teachers who are joining the Tales Toolkit Family!
