Tales Toolkit have been awarded a grant under the Mercers’ Company’s Early Years Special Initiative, funded by the Charity of Sir Richard Whittington.
The Mercers’ Company is a livery company focused on being a philanthropic force for good. Each year they help around 180 charities with the aim to create positive change across generations, giving those they help the chance to live a fulfilling life now and in the future.
The Mercers Special Initiative project will provide grant is funded by the Charity of Sir Richard Whittington (to which the Mercers’ Company is a Corporate Trustee) and will ensure that, coming out of the pandemic, some of the children and schools that have been hit the hardest by remote learning will have the opportunity to regain their levels of creativity, play, imagination and literacy-based skills.
We are also looking forward to working with some of the organisations funded under this initiative such as, the Literacy Trust, Chickenshed, and many more.
